It's been a while. A lot has changed since I last blogged. We have gone through a Pastoral change at our Church. Our daughter Kristen is now engaged. Our son Matt is now married to Kerri. Our football team went 12-1 and to the 3rd round of the state playoffs. Naomi and I now have a new addition to our family, a beautiful little puppy we call "Sweetie". A lot of change right? Day to day life is full of changes. We have to progress through life changes with flexibility and grace. The old saying, "Blessed are the flexible, for they will not get bent out of shape", is still very true. Our church is growing and doing very well with our new Pastor Jason Prater, his wife Nicole, and their children Lexie and Colson. We have already grown to love them like family. We love our future son-in-law Tyler (as long as he keeps on the straight and narrow :-). Our new daughter-in-law Kerri is amazing and our new puppy "Sweetie" has quickly stolen our hearts. God is good, He has blessed us far beyond what we deserve. And, He is ever Faithful. You see, He never changes. He is the same, Yesterday, Today, and Forever. We believe and trust Him in all things, and He provides and guides us through all of life changes. There is a consistency that comes when you give all and trust all things to God. So, when life changes come, and they will. You have someone to lead you through the good and the bad, the happy and sad changes of life.
Be strong and courageous,
Phil
